RIP Art Harvath
Anyone with any political involvement in Huntington will know his name. Word came through another forum this afternoon that Art lost his battle with cancer today. I didn't always agree with Art but no one could question his passion and committment, not to mention his love, of Huntington. Huntington has lost one of her most dedicated sons. Prayers for his family. We are less today with his passing.

I worked with Art every day at SWV and he was the best friend a friend could have. He told it like it was and did not hide his feelings. He would ask me everyday how my wife and kids were doing no matter how bad he was feeling with his battle with cancer. Art was a class act and a self proclaimed hippee. Man I miss that guy.
